Tiger Lily and River Fern

My wife received this Tiger Lily for Mother’s Day two years ago.  Last year it’s first bloom of the Spring opened on Mother’s Day.  We were hoping for another Mother’s Day bloom this year, but it happened two days later.  Still pretty cool.

Mother’s Day Lily

Our son and his wife gave this beautiful lily to my wife for Mother’s Day last year.  It survived a pretty harsh winter and came back up in the spring.  It bloomed again  on Mother’s Day this year!  It is truly the gift that keeps on giving!
