I now live in Austin, but cherish the memories I have fishing with my dad and brother and seeing all the awesome wildlife that is so abundant on the Lower Laguna Madre! Thanks for writing. Larry

This photo looks like a twilight scene right from my back yard!! In the early 90s, that’s all my wife and I saw daily and in season were GBlues, Night herons, egrets, kingfishers, cormorants, owls, and hawks where (bobcats and alligators and gars preyed on them…) we still live on the resaca in Rancho Viejo, TX. Unfortunately, times change and so do the animals move on to more remote places away from the progressively crowded neighborhood. Thanks for showing me the memories of two decades…’10
